The map is densely engraved with information and features a large title cartouche with a lavish scene of King Philip V with his courtiers. The map is very detailed with major cities, rivers and trading ports. SEUTTER began his career as an apprentice under tutelage of JB Homann. Then, he left Homann to establish his own independent cartographic publishing firm in Augsburg.
